SaiPa Lappeenranta make their home debut of the 2026/27 Champions Hockey League season against unbeaten Dynamo Pardubice. Both teams are coming off wins on Game Day 2. This will be the teams’ first-ever head-to-head meeting in the CHL.

SaiPa split their opening two games on the road in Sweden and Denmark – each decided by a five-goal difference. The Finnish club began with a 6-1 defeat to reigning CHL Champions Frölunda Gothenburg, and followed that up with a 7-2 win over Danish champions Herning Blue Fox. Janne Naukkarinen, Patrik Siikanen and Mikko Perttu are the team’s top three scorers with three points each. Defenceman Santeri Airola leads the team with five blocked shots.

Pardubice started the competition with two straight shutouts on home ice – 6-0 over Polish champions GKS Tychy and 1-0 over Rögle Ängelholm from Sweden – with Malcolm-Jamaal Subban and Roman Will posting the shutouts. That makes Pardubice the only team not to concede a goal so far and one of two teams with a goal difference of +7. Offensively, captain Roman Červenka leads the team with four points – all assists. Defenceman Daniel Gazda has been one of the CHL’s most physical players, dishing out four hits so far.
